New horizons - London, Hong Kong offices open
At Third Horizon, we don’t just say, we do. We specialize in helping clients to develop and execute effective strategies and navigate transformation. Now, we have transformed our own business, with the opening of our first offices outside Australia – in London and Hong Kong.
This strategic move will enable us to provide greater support to multinational clients in different locations – where they already may operate, or where they might wish to.
The new offices give us:
- Greater ability to respond to client needs in international markets.
- On-the-ground knowledge, support and resources.
- Better access to insights in multiple markets.
It also gives us greater ability to provide insights to our Australian clients on what’s happening elsewhere.
Hong Kong opened its doors in November 2009, and our London operations hit the ground running with a new client in May 2010 – a strategic assignment for one of the UK’s largest utilities.
From London, we can better service client needs throughout the UK and Europe. Our initial focus is on property, construction, real estate, infrastructure and financial services. Government will also be important, particularly given the recent election result.
In Hong Kong, we are primarily working in financial services, government and with large multinational clients. The office gives us a presence in the world’s biggest market – China, and a platform from which to serve clients throughout south-east Asia.
Both are full service offices, equipped to provide the complete range of offerings Third Horizon already provides in Australia.
In line with our philosophy of providing true career growth paths and development opportunities for staff, some of our Australian team have been given the chance to work in the new offices, and we are expanding our skills pool by progressively hiring local talent. That will deliver a potent blend of existing Third Horizon expertise and intimate knowledge of the local market.
We are excited about leveraging the benefits and opportunities presented by our ‘new horizons’ – and we look forward to sharing them with you.
