Growing up on a sheep station ‘back of Bourke’ in outback Australia, Geoff first attended ‘school of the air’ before moving to boarding school and then university in Sydney. For the past 25+ years he has had consistent success in starting, building, growing and improving the performance of businesses, both as a senior advisor and as a business leader.
Geoff’s expertise spans corporate innovation and growth, business strategy and execution, merger integration and major transformational change as well as operational management and people leadership. He has a strong track record in creating the strategic vision, delivering business value through a strong results focus, and care for people and their development.
His roles have included Managing or Lead Partner positions for global consulting businesses with full operational responsibilities including building and leading a team of over 350 consultants with revenues of $100m. Geoff has lived in Asia and worked extensively across the Europe, Asia and USA/Canada. Geoff’s clients include major Australian and global organisations including Westpac, AMP, Telstra, Qantas, FedEx, Oracle, Caterpillar and Brambles where he has sold and led many complex transformation and merger integration projects focusing on delivering results within tight timeframes.
Geoff’s most recent role was to lead a team that explored, refined and commercialised new ideas into businesses or products that differentiated and created new revenue streams for a major professional services firm. Over a three year period, 12 products and 3 new businesses with net new revenue opportunities of $200m were launched.
Geoff is a Graduate of the AICD Directors Course, has a Masters of Economics (Macq), a Bachelor of Business (UTS), is a CA of the ICAANZ and a CPA.
