Ed Bridgeland

Ed leads business transformation programs with a particular focus on implementing reforms and introducing new ways of working in the public sector.
He is passionate about improving how governments deliver services to citizens relying on them, and has helped Federal, State and Local Governments to enhance customer services, maintain sustainable costs and ultimately achieve better outcomes. He has successfully worked across many areas of Government service, though is particularly focused on the human and social aspects of the sector, including welfare, justice, and community services.
Ed’s core skills range from strategy development, designing new operating models and implementing enterprise or system-wide change. He is a thought leader in a number of areas of operational performance improvement including commissioning and innovation in service delivery models. He has recently been focused on bringing elements of agile and human centred design to the operational and organisation design process – helping organisations to future proof new models from a customer perspective and build consensus for new ways of working.
Ed has fifteen years consulting experience in the UK and Australia, prior to which he worked in Local and Central Government. He has a BA honours degree in English from Oxford University.
